- 31st Annual CdM Scenic 5K June 2. Catch the Spirit! Run, walk or cheer at the 31st Annual Corona del Mar Scenic 5k. Whether you run or consider it a spectator sport, join us from 7:30 - 9:30am. Leslie Kazarian has offered her front patio as our rallying stage, as she is front and center on the race route on Ocean Blvd. Coffee and snacks will be on hand for all runners and cheerleaders. Breakfast will be served at the church at 9:45. It is a great way to share fellowship with our 'spirited' faith family as well as the community. - Introduction to Prayer Essentials Saturday, June 9th, 9am - 3pm. We state in our recall at Worship Service that we will pray every day. Being a member of Community Church means that we make a commitment in our relationship with God. Whether you have never attended Prayer 101 and want to learn more about how to pray, or you have attended several Prayer 101 retreats, and are due for a refresher course, come to Introduction to Prayer Essentials. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Child care including meals and program for the children will also be provided. Get into the habit of daily prayer, or improve, deepen, and reinforce your current routine of daily prayer. Come learn how to fine tune your listening to our Lord. Hear His voice; follow His direction. Learning how to do this daily prayer is life changing. This is the central core, the heart of the matter. Prayer is the foundation of our relationship with God.
