  • Pat will give you an informational sheet during your appointment. When you submit that sheet along with a non-refundable deposit, you secure the time slot for your Wedding.   You are cordially welcomed, but not required, to worship with the Community Church faith family at either of our Sunday worship services.

  • Pre-marriage preparation includes both workshops (consisting of two evening sessions, offered two times per year) and a private meeting between you and the pastor who will be officiating at your wedding. The Pre-marriage Workshops are conducted upstairs in Mertz Hall by marital counselors and/or our pastoral staff.

  • You are responsible for contacting and making an appointment at the church with our officiating pastor to discuss your vision of the wedding ceremony, at least six weeks prior to your wedding date.

  • You will also be responsible for contacting our Director of Music, Rodger Whitten, 760.249.6632 no sooner than one month before your Wedding unless you would like him to assist in providing special additional music (e.g. soloist, string quartet, etc.) In that case, the sooner the better!

  • You will meet with our church Wedding Director about ten days before your Wedding in order to go over final details.

  • Your Rehearsal will be conducted by Our Wedding Director. All in your Wedding Party are expected to attend.

  • Our Wedding Director and our Wedding Staff will be present at the church for your Wedding in order to ensure a smooth and beautiful ceremony.

  • Our officiating pastor will sign your marriage license and will forward it to the County Clerk ’s office for official legal recording.

Our sanctuary is not available to be rented out, but you may request that your own pastor participate or co-officiate in the ceremony. You may make this specific request by contacting our Pastor,

The Reverend Chip Fisher, at 949-644-7400 (ext. 23).

We would like to personalize the Wedding Service to accommodate what you have in mind, and we try to be flexible with the requests you may have.
